Bio

I am 23 years old and lives in Jamaica, W.I. I have completed over three years of Community College, two of those years, I was pursuing an Associate Degree in Management Information Systems. I have also served as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New York, from April 2007 to April 2009.
My missionary service have taught me a lot which was also a reminder to me over the these past couple days of why, I want to become a U.S. Marine. Since I was between the ages of 7-9, my ambition was to become a Soldier, this continued throughout high school, where I took some cadet training as well. But when I found out about the Marines a couple years ago, I realized that this was what I truly want to do, if the opportunity was given to me to pursue this dream.

Advice

Describe the positive impact the Marine Corps has made on you.

It has reminded me of the things that are truly important to my life, such as, my family, desire to serve God and utilzing my talents and abilities to improve the life of others

What makes you proud of the United States Marine Corps?

Their dedication, loyalty and love that they have for each other and those they serve.

What is a piece of advice you have for recruits, new Marines, or members of the Marine Corps family?

To put God first in everything you do, He will also be there to comfort and support you and your family, friends and loved ones.
