Describe the positive impact the Marine Corps has made on you.
I have gained alot of respect for the Marine Corps and now understand the sacrifices that are young men and women go through to protect each and every one of us. They have a very tough job. I am thankful for the fact that my son, Chris, has showed us to be proud of not only him, but our country, and our freedom.
What makes you proud of the United States Marine Corps?
I am so proud that the Marine Corp has taken my son from a boy to a man. Not just any man, but a Marine. I feel better going to sleep at night knowing we have dedicated members of the Marine corp protecting us in so many ways. I love that they stand for loyalty, honor, and freedom.
What is a piece of advice you have for recruits, new Marines, or members of the Marine Corps family?
When you enter boot camp you may have the thought of "What am I doing here" hang in there if is well worth what you will endour in your future with the Marine Corps. Parents, you will cry and become very proud and emotional at the person your son or daughter has become through the experience with the Marine Corps. i am thankful each day that my son chose the Marines.
