My husband and I are the proud parents of 3 children. We live in Firestone, CO.Kevin is our middle son. He graduated on 9/23/11. We are so proud of him and of being part of the Marine Family.
Advice
Describe the positive impact the Marine Corps has made on you.
The Marines have changed our lives forever and the impact is ONLY positive. Our son is surrounded by people who want to see him succeed as much as he wants to succeed himself.
What makes you proud of the United States Marine Corps?
This question is so easy to answer! Everything. I am bursting with pride at being just a mom. I wish when I was a young woman, I had the nerve to join the Marines!
What is a piece of advice you have for recruits, new Marines, or members of the Marine Corps family?
Im still a new Marine mom myself, but for the recruit's parents, I can tell you, they will get your mail, they will pull out their wisdom teeth and they will survive! Go to the graduation if you are at all able to attend. It is amazing.
