BioI live in Roseburg with my wife and daughter, working full time at my regular job and seasonally at my community college as the sports announcer. I attended military academies for my last two years of high school, and even enlisted in the Marine Corps. I sat in the DEP for a while, but had to drop out due to problems at home. Currently trying to get enlisted again, but having an impossible time doing so, as no recruiter wants to work with me. I won't stop, though, until I either become a Marine or I find out that it's actually impossible for me to enlist. It is my dream, and I will do everything in my power to achieve it, up to and including calling the white house. It means that much to me.
No matter what happens, I support the USMC and everything they do. Hoorah!
Describe the positive impact the Marine Corps has made on you.
My time in the academies and time spent with Marines has helped me become a more confident person and a stronger leader in everything that I do. Because of the influence, I take initiative and I know that I am in charge of my life.
What makes you proud of the United States Marine Corps?
Everything about the world's finest fighting force makes me proud.
What is a piece of advice you have for recruits, new Marines, or members of the Marine Corps family?
Recruits: Don't give up. The drill instructors might be tough, but they're there to help you make something of your life. Families: Support your recruits/Marines as much as possible. Devildogs are tough as nails, but they still need love from home.
