Bio

My husband and I are elementary music teachers and great American patriots. Though we regularly recognize and appreciate our military, we never thought we would have a son who has always dreamed to be a Marine. Today he was accepted as a recruit and is heading to Parris Island as I write this. I am full of so many emotions and feel as if I am in a dream. I would love to hear how other mothers felt on the first day of their son's or daughter's Marine career.
