Missing my fiancé...

 

So, my fiancé left for boot camp in San Diego on the 20th. I have good days and I have bad days. This is a bad day. I miss him like crazy. I haven't gotten a letter from him yet, and I just really hope he's doing okay.

My youngest son decided he wanted to join the Marines when he was junior in highschool. He joined the delayed entry program in September and his shipout date is August 8th. He worked so hard to get prepared for his new journey.

Graduating 2-11-11

 

My boyfriend, Rct Rivera, graduates from basic on February 11th. Less than four weeks to go!! It seems like he just left yesterday, which is a very great feeling! I am so excited to watch him graduate.

My oldest son left for boot camp on Monday the 18th. This has been so hard because we have had a rough time this year with my father and my husband passing away one month apart. My son was such a rock for me.

A big decision

 

I'm 15 years old, almost 16, and out of the blue, I feel like God is calling me to be a Marine. I can't describe the feeling. I am scared, but excited, and very nervous about all this because I don't know much about the Marines and what it consists of.
