Swearing In & Headed to Boot Camp

 

It's been a week since my 20 year old son swore in to be a Marine and headed to boot camp. Haven't heard any news yet, but I am sure that he is very busy and I hope to hear from him soon. Watching him swear in was a very moving moment for me.

My son left for boot camp on 09/17/12. I am so proud of the goals he has set for his life and the choices he is making to accomplish them. I cried when the bus pulled out to take him to the airport.

My son left yesterday December 17th ...

 

I did not get to go to his swearing in this morning that made me a bit sad .I did not even know we could till recently and its a long drive . I am proud and cant wait till March .I do not know much .

Still in Shock

 

My son turned 18 last week. He signed initial paperwork today and will be swearing in next Wednesday. I am scared, proud, overwhelmed and emotional. I am looking for support, so anyone that would like to exchange information, please post.

At last!

 

My son Jeffrey left yesterday 09/06/11 for boot camp at Parris Island. Like most of the other mom's on this site I have been crying for 2 days and do not see it ending anytime soon. LOL.

Many Thanks to my New Extended Family

 

Well he did it! On February 9th, 2010 at 1337, my son became a United States Marine. It was a moment filled with so many emotions for me.

Our Son Off to Boot Camp

 

Our beautiful son, Joseph, headed out to boot camp yesterday, we're so proud of him. It was hard watching him leave after his swearing in but we have faith he will be fine.

My Beautiful Marine Daughter

 

My daughter went to boot camp @ Parris Island 7/23/12, have received and sent letters, she is doing fine, I already notice a change, she is an awesome young lady, and we miss her.
