My son left for boot camp on 8/27/12. This is the 2nd time I have been through this in the last 3 months. I have a son in the Navy and now this one the Marines. My son really held up very well.

want to start by saying that i am sooo proud on my son! I can look back and see him as a child and remember him saying that he wanted to be a Marine when he grew up. Everyone else had thier make belive heros like super man, spider man etc..

Our son was suppose to leave for bootcamp on Monday, June 27. He is a senior in college and we have prepared for this day for almost a year. He was told on Friday June 24 that he was being put on stand by. He has passed all his PT.
