Left For Bootcamp 09.13.10 San Diego

 

Spencer left for boot camp Monday September 13 to San Diego. This was no surprise, he has always wanted this since he was a little boy. Being a parent you prepare for something like this or so I thought. We really miss him.

When he said he wanted to be a Marine I got choked up and worried and proud all in one second. He left for San Diego July 24th, and got a very brief "Hello, this is Marine Private Williams, I have arrived here safely, etc. " a 5 second phone call Mon.

My Sweet and Fierce Son began basic training in San Diego on Sept. 20th

 

Hi, My Son went to San Diego on Sept. 20th, from our home in Texas, to begin Basic. I got the 10 second call, which freaked me out a little, and it has been a wild and emotional week for me. I thought I was more prepared.

MCRD San Diego April 2, 2012

 

My oldest son left on April 2, 2012 for MCRD San Diego for bootcamp. I was scared and happy all at the same time, knowing he would be a US Marine. I am so proud of the decision he has made and know that he will be one of THE FEW. THE PROUD.

My son left on 6/20/2011 to San Diego from Dallas, Tx. Is there any parents out there that their son left the same day and are in the 1st RTBN Bravo Company Platoon 1031. I would really love to share information with you.
