Shameful treatment of a United States Marine by United Airlines
My 18 y/o United States Marine son (2nd Bn, 1st Mar, Golf Co, 1st Plt) was home for a few days leave, from the 27 of April until the 6th of May, here in central Iowa where he grew up and has always lived.

My son had been over sea's 3 times, last time coming home in Dec 2011.They are the light of my life, and when Roger is over sea's you nerves are shot. Roger loves the USMC and I am so proud of him. I love all of our Marine Corp, you are the BEST.

I thank God daily that my daughter is a United States Marine.She is almost 3years in the corps, just completed a 5 months pre deployment training and is now PROUDLY serving her country in AFGHANISTAN.

My son deployed to Afghanistan in April and I can say as a Mom that it was a very proud and hard few minutes at the airport. He was wearing his favorite old sweatshirt and I can still feel the long embrace and the feel of the soft material on my cheek.

Mom of a daughter in Parris Island boot camp 2011/12
My daughter is is her 8th week at boot camp. Not too much longer. I am so proud and scared at the same time. I give her so much credit for choosing this path in life. I know she will be the best Marine and will live up to their history.
