Hi Everyone, My son arrived to San Diego the other day for Boot Camp. He was supposed to ship out next April but his date got moved up to this past Tuesday giving us four days to get ready.

My son, Andrew, left for boot on 15 November. I got "the call" late that night (he's in San Diego) and haven't heard anything until today - there was the letter waiting for me! I wanted to cry when my husband called to tell me he sent a letter.

STARTED BOOT CAMP PI NOV. 7, 2011
My son is 21 years old and an EMT but decided he wanted to join the Marines. He entered into the Delayed Entry Program in July and left for Parris Island this past Sunday, Nov. 7. I got his phone call on Monday, Nov. 8 around 9:45 pm.
