My only son

 

Today my only son has left for boot camp to Paris Island. For 12 years after his Father passed he has been the man of the house. His sisters and I are very proud for his decision but we already miss him.

MY SON STARTED BOOT CAMP ON 07/11/11

 

My son left for boot camp and I waited for a phone call from him, which felt like forever! Finally it came in the middle of the night, I guess, because my cell phone never rang and yet there was a voicemail with his voice.

A new menber of a military family.

 

My son Andrew Waldrop left for boot camp on 7/25/11 the day before his 10 y/o sisters birthday she turned 11 the day after he left. My son left us here in Texas to become a very proud and dedicated young man. We are all so proud of him here.

Time goes quickly

 

My son left for Parris Island on 7/25/11. I was very emotional for the first few weeks, but it has gotten better. I miss him very much & think of him all of the time, but the time has gone by quickly.

Proud Marine Girlfriend

 

My boyfriend left for bootcamp on 7/11/11. It is hard, but it goes by so fast. I am in college I am a freshman. My boyfriend lives in Rhode Island, that is where I used to live before I moved to Florida a little less than a year ago.

waiting for my marine

 

My husband left for Marine Corps. Bootcamp in Parris Island, SC on April 16. Just a few short days after he left our 7 month old began crawling. She has now got two teeth and is talking up a storm.
