My Baby Boy left yesterday, Monday June 20th
My son left yesterday to start his adventure as a Marine. It was so hard to say goodbye and send him off alone to bootcamp. It has been just the two of us for over 8 years and watching my world load the bus was the hardest thing I have ever done.

My son left June 28, 2011 for Houston with the Marine Recruiter. He contacted us on the 29th around 4PM stating he was suppose to catch the plane at 6PM for San Diego. We had not heard from him since he was in Houston.

My son also headed out on June 20th and yesterday I finally received a letter. Was so good to finally hear from him, and it sounds like it is harder than he thought, but he said it is finally coming together.
