My son begins his journey with the USMC in 6 days.
My son has had a USMC Flag hanging in his room since he was 12 years old. He signed in April (and I thought then 9 months was a long time), and he leaves in 6 days. I've never had 9 months fly so quickly.

Our son arrived in San Diego to begin his 13 weeks of boot camp, just yesterday (6/13). He had been preparing for this day since last August, when his mother and I agreed to sign for his delayed entry.
