My oldest son left on April 2, 2012 for MCRD San Diego for bootcamp. I was scared and happy all at the same time, knowing he would be a US Marine. I am so proud of the decision he has made and know that he will be one of THE FEW. THE PROUD.

Strong decision and persistance
My son left on October 11, 2011 and I as I saw him leaving my heart went with him. At the age of 20 he wanted to become a Marine because he was already a man. He will always be my baby but his decision and persistence make me think other wise.
