Hello my daughter too left on Dec. 17th. As a mother of a only child, I have had mixed feelings since she left. So I understand your sadness, I too am sad and feel very lonely without her. As parents it's hard to let them go.

Im currently 14 about to turn 15. Before i wanted to work somewhere in the criminal justice department, but now i know that i want to become a marine. Im very athletic and i will continue to train until i graduate highschool and go to parris island.

My daughter takes her first step tomorrow in becoming a Marine. She meets with her recruiter for a pre-PT test and to talk about the upcoming transition in to Marine life. She has worked so hard all these years to become a Marine.

Letting Go My Future Marine

 

My son left to Boot Camp (PI) on 9/10/12. I am so extremely proud of him and so proud of what he is seeking to accomplish in his life. My son has dreamed of this day for some time. This day did not come without challenges.
