My son just left Monday(1/28/13) for recruit training. He called today to tell us that he was examined and told he has an eye stigmatism. This will delay his training.

my son is off to bootcamp

 

my son left for boot camp at parris island on jan 28th. he left from home on sunday and stayed in a hotel overnight. he was supposed to be on a flight at 10am.

Safe Arrival?

 

My son left June 28, 2011 for Houston with the Marine Recruiter. He contacted us on the 29th around 4PM stating he was suppose to catch the plane at 6PM for San Diego. We had not heard from him since he was in Houston.

New Beginning

 

Our son, Jonathon, will be leaving for boot camp in July 2011, and my wife and I can feel the adrenaline and excitement he has built up in the last several months. We are just as excited, and we are looking forward to the graduation ceremony.

Is there a chance?

 

Alright, so. My Fiance and I are currently 34 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow with our first child. Her due date is 12/12/12. He recently graduated from MCRD Parris Island on Oct. 12th and arrived to MCT at Camp Lejuene, North Carolina on Oct. 22nd.

Very Sick Going Into Week 4 at MCRD

 

My son has been writing saying he is very sick. Fever, cough..etc. says he feels like pnuemonia. I hear if he feels sick enough he can go to sick call and the medics decide if he is too sick to continue. I hope he can tough it out.
