My son's decision

 

My 17 year old son has decided to enlist in the Marines. As his mom, I'm both proud, and a little scared. He hasn't wavered in this plan for two years now, so his dedication is obvious. Last week, my son, husband and I met with the recruiter.

My son graduated 1/7/11 and is now a Marine. I want to thank the drill instructors for the wonderful job they do in transforming our young people into Marines. They have a hard job and deserve our appreciation.
