My "little" brother is three years younger than I and he left for Parris Island in July. His graduation is October 14th and it cannot come fast enough. He is my only sibling and we are very close to our parents.

Miss My Baby Brother

 

My brother and I have always been close. He left Sept. 20, 2010 for Boot Camp. I miss him a lot. My daughter is 2 and she asked me today if we can see if Uncle Gage can come stay the night with her soon. I wanted to cry.

Well my brother left on September 20th, I've written him twenty million times and have yet to get anything back. Everyone else has gotten something back from him besides me :( I know he hasn't forgotten about me but he's my other half and my best friend.

Baby brother becoming a Marine

 

My baby brother, who I helped raise, left for the Marines on November 1st, 2010. He wasn't suppose to leave until January 18th but he had the opportunity to leave early and keep the job he wanted, so he jumped on that opportunity.

I remember "Every Marine is your Brother" being told to us as a young Boot back in '89 and not giving much thought to it, until now. Tomorrow we will lay to rest someone that I did not know we would become the best of friend till this day.
