Anyone have a son who leaves August 1st for Parris Isl?
Well I dropped my son off at his recruiters office today and he got the bus for MEPS in Jax. I am very proud of him but will miss him like crazy.

I finally got the form letter with my son's address. I have been writing him everyday since he left on August 1st. He is in 1st BN, Delta Co, Plt. 1086. If anyone has someone in his platoon I would love to keep in touch. Graduation date is Oct. 28th.

New to the marine recruit family
My youngest son decided he wanted to join the Marines when he was junior in highschool. He joined the delayed entry program in September and his shipout date is August 8th. He worked so hard to get prepared for his new journey.
