Daughter off to Parris Island August 22, 2011
My daughter shipped to Parris Island August 22. Any other mom's with daughters that shipped that day? I am so pround but yet so scared for her I kind of wish I could do the training for her just so she wouldn't have to.

Our son shipped to MCRD today! Because we live on an island, he actually had to leave yesterday. We are looking forward to seeing everything he accomplishes over the next 3 months and are very proud of him.

My youngest son has dreamed of becoming a Marine. On August 16, 2010 I said goodbye to him to let him follow his dream. Even though I cry everyday because I miss him so much. I am so proud of the man he has become. I miss him so much.

Hello! I'm not sure how to go about this without sounding selfish but my boyfriend left for boot camp on August 30th. I was able to see him off and everything but its been 7 weeks and I have only received 5 letters.
