Kyle was just barely 16 when he decided to research information on the internet about becoming a Marine. We only found out because we received a letter in the mail stating he was too young and would start receiving information when he was older. That letter remains on our refrigerator:) He has since graduated from high school and enlisted earlier this year in January. His father and I are so proud of him!! His date of departure for boot camp is August 6 to San Diego. We are anxious, proud, nervous, excited!! We would love to hear from other parents on what to expect, what to send, etc.
