Family
My Marine Poolee
Posted By: Shannen Loznao 02-04-12
He will be leaving July 17 and I am very nervous for him. My cousin means the world to me and were always together. We are the same age and we were both going to join the Marine. But my mother got sick and I said I couldn't, I told him he could its always been his dream. When he told everyone 2years ago on new years my mother cried because my cousin is like one of her own. She was scared and told him I can't protect you from there or where ever they ship you to. His response "I will be protecting you tia (spanish for aunt)."
We are super proud of him and hes so excited to go. We show him all the support we can but he feels as if its just my family supporting him and not the others. I can't wait until he graduates and becomes an offical U.S Marine.
