Proud beyond words!

Justin Senior Year 2011

My son left on November 28, 2011 to take his place on those yellow footprints. I spent ten years in law enforcement and 19 years being a single parent but let me say that this has been the single hardest thing I have ever done. Each letter that comes defines how homesick he is. I just want to hug his neck and tell him how proud I am but truth be known I don't know if I will be able to let go next time around. I should have bought him luggage for Christmas big enough to take me next time. I am counting the days till Graduation 02/24/12 and looking forward to holding my head high and saying "That's my boy right there"!

I know how hard it is to let go my baby my only son left for boot camp almost a year ago & is now stationed in Okinawa Japan. I so agree with & understand you wanting to just hop in the luggage & go with him where ever that may be. Thats how I felt when I was sending my son his Christmas present I just wanted to mail myself to him. Its hard because you miss him & yet you are so proud you can harley speak without tears running down your face. Just wait till you see him on famly day man oh man how proud you will be.
Thank your son for me please & let him know not only his "birth" mom is proud of him but he has Many Many New Marine Mom's that are proud of him as well & I want to say thank you to you for all that you will sacrifice as well...

Welcome to the Marine Family...Ohh-Rah!!!
