My son shipped June 20, 2011 to San Diego from Oklahoma. He's in 1st RNBT, Bravo Co, PLT 1033. I would love to connect with any other parents who's son is in this platoon.

Hello Janet,
My son is in Bravo co. platoon 1033. We are getting so excited about the graduation. We have received 4 letters from him. He has also written his sister, both sets of grandparents. His letters have all been very positive. His last letter that was received today at the grandparents house told about their 5 mile hike with their 50 lb. packs on. He also told us about their rifle training. He let us know he hit 14 out of 15 shots in the black area of the target. He was very excited about that. Hope to meet up with alot of the parents at graduation. Hope to see you there.

I'm excited too! It's 10 days away and I'm so anxious! If you haven't already gone to www.devildogs.info go there and look at the picture of the platoon. Very exciting. Brought tears to my eyes!

Hello there,
My son left from Oklahoma on June 20 also. I love this website. It is so nice that they have a website for parents and other family members to talk to others. It is hard to believe the boys are already half way through boot camp. We have received 4 letters from our son. They have all been very positive!!!! I would really like to know how his swim week went and how the first week of rifle training went. Do you plan on attending the graduation? We will be leaving from Kansas on the 14th to be there for Family day on the 15th and graduation on the 16th. Maybe we could meet up if you are going to graduation and meet you.

Yes I'll be going to Graduation. I think my boy had to have his wisdom teeth out too. I'm missing him like crazy, I write everyday, sometimes twice haha! there's a lot of other parents and support at marinefamilynetwork.com you should check it out. I'm usually in the chat room.

Hi Cynthia,
I have only gotten 3 letters as well. My last one said he got his wisdom teeth out last week? And had brochitis. How are you doing with everything? I miss my son terribly. Are you going to graduation? Hope all is well with your son.
