My son graduated from boot camp on June 19, 2009. I felt like the most proud mom there. Although I am so sure all moms were feeling the same. Tears fell from my eyes as I ran to hug him. What relief I felt, to have my baby in my arms again. My baby is now a man..... not long after, he left again for training. Once again, my heart ached... But, I was so proud to say, 'that is my Marine.' He is now stationed in Japan and I have not seen him in about a year. He will be there for another two years and he is missed so very much!!! I pray everyday that God keeps him safe and brings him home soon. And thank God for giving him a beautiful wife to keep him company... Like I said, my baby is now a man.
My Marine..... Cpl. T. Romero... I am so proud of you and love you so so much!!!
