The letter came today. So happy. Zak sounds very up about the whole thing, so far. I hope the good attitude stays w him. Sent all his frineds on Facebook his address. If all his friends wrote 1 letter each, he would get a letter every day. Lots of supporting friends & family.

Getting the first letter is an amazing feeling isn't it! When i got my first letter all i wanted to do was, kart wheels down the hall way and jump up and down lol!!! I could not stop smiling :) My boyfriend will graduate from boot camp April 8th of 2011!!! Ever since he left i started planning my trip down there, and now the 8th is coming closer and closer. I believe its 4 and a half weeks away! In his last i sent him i was so proud of him but when his response came back, it said he already knew that. lol

I am so happy to see that you got a letter from Zak and he is doing well. There is a site you can go on and know what he is doing weekly. www.recruitparents.com Go on the site, and go to left side under "recruit training" and click on "training schedule". Click on "download PDF for Paris Island" . If Zak is in San Diego this training matrix will be similar. Now you will know what he is doing and when you send him a letter you will know what he will be doing next and be able to talk to him about it. Also sign up for the newsletter it will be very helpful. Keep me posted on how he is doing. My name is Pam and my son Josh graduated from bootcamp on January 15, 2010 and is now stationed in Camp Pendelton for 2 years.
