My son left on 6/21/10 and all I can say that every letter he writes and letting me know, how much he loves the Marines. My Son has made me and his Dad Proud of his decision. He writes so positive and I know he is struggling and with lots of pressure, but he hold his head high. He is expressing the growth that he is becoming a Strong Young Man. I want to thank the Drill Sergeants that are teaching these young man to be what they want to be a United States Marine. I know my Son is very proud and cant wait until Graduation. Thank you!

I received a letter within one week. The letter will only have his address and some instructions of what is happening the first week he is at base. You will also receive a letter from his Drill Sargeant with the Steps your son will be going through at base. After that then you will receive letters from him within another week. I know exactly how you feel. God Bless You and your Son. Thank you.

My son just left August 9, 2010 and we haven't received any postcard with his address yet. How long did it take for you to receive your first piece of mail from him? It can't come soon enough for me. Thank you.
