Unconventional?

 

I have to admit my story can be taken as a bit unconventional. I met my boyfriend online. Living in San Diego I was always told to be aware of Marines but when I met my boyfriend he was different than the stories I had heard time and time again.

My Boyfriend left to boot camp on Sunday 3/3/13 i miss him so much :(

 

My boyfriend left to boot camp for the net 3 months .. i am sooooo sad and depressed ! we have been together for 6 years and we were together all the time ...hes has been in boot camp for 1 week and 1 day ..

Marine Girlfriend

 

I am graduating high school and my boyfriend is a Marine. He is leaving for boot camp in two weeks on March 18. I know it's going to be really hard and the closer we get...the more the reality of it sets in.

We are almost there!!!

 

My son CJ left on Dec.17the. He graduates on Mar.15th. His crucible starts on Tues. I can tell by some of the letters his friends received that it's been a lot harder than he thought. But he would never want me to know that.

My son leaves July 8, 2013

 

My son is leaving for Parris Island on July 8, 2013 right after his high school graduation. Is there anyone else who has a son or daughter leaving on that day? I would like to be able to talk to them.

When I left my son at MEPS on Monday after he was sworn in, I managed not to cry until I was out of his sight. I knew he was tired and anxious and I didn't want to add to that.
