My son...we left him at the recruiting station at 5:00 pm Sunday night (8/7/11). He was MCRD San Diego bound. I kept my composure until the very end...when we were saying our good-byes..for now. I cried like a baby..

Parents with daughters

Are there any parents out there with young ladies at Parris Island, SC? I would love to connect with some. I feel very isolated on this site, as most of the stories are about men and it is definitely not the same. Thanks.
